Occupational Therapy (OT) is the use of assessment and intervention to develop, recover, or maintain the meaningful activities, or occupations, of individuals, groups, or communities. Occupational therapy practitioners enable people of all ages to live life to its fullest by helping them promote health, and prevent—or live better with—injury, illness, or disability. It's a health care and rehabilitation profession.
Each University has their unique advantage in the undergraduate (BOT), Postgraduate (MOT), and PhD programs. The students are exposed to vast clinical areas, theoretical studies and intense practical trainings are enables every student to become a knowledgeable and highly skilled Occupational Therapist.
THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The eligibility criteria are passing in HSC (+2) with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or) Botany and Zoology. Candidates who are desirous of joining BOT Degree are through Entrance Examination or interview and counseling conducted by the University.
PROGRAM DURATION & DEGREE OFFERED
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) program is 4 years and 6 months of compulsory internship program, Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) is a 2 years program and PhD program. There is a tremendous scope for Occupational Therapist, continue to develop their skill and expertise through courses in areas such as Paediatric, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Burns, Psychiatric, Hand rehabilitation , Ergonomics, Geriatric, Cardio respiratory, Community based rehabilitation etc.,
